Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about the urgent consultation

Complete a medical questionnaire and send 3 photos of your skin concern. A dermatologist reviews your case and sends a detailed clinical report within the timeframe of the plan you choose.

For most skin concerns, assessment via photographs and a clinical questionnaire allows the dermatologist to define a treatment plan. Some situations, such as assessing moles (nevi), may require in-person observation or further tests such as dermoscopy. In that case, the dermatologist will state this in the report and recommend an in-person consultation.

If you have warning signs such as active bleeding, a wound that has not healed for more than 3 weeks, or a very rapid change in a mole, seek urgent in-person care.

If the dermatologist identifies the need for an in-person assessment, you will be informed and guided on the next steps.
